Bay Auto Detailing provides professional vehicle detailing services throughout Napier and Hawke's Bay. Services may vary depending on the condition, size, and requirements of each vehicle.
2. Bookings
Bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until accepted by Bay Auto Detailing. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, equipment issues, or unforeseen circumstances.
3. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept approved payment methods communicated at the time of booking.
4. Vehicle Condition
Customers are responsible for informing us of any pre-existing damage, mechanical issues, electrical faults, or sensitive surfaces before work begins. Bay Auto Detailing is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, faulty paintwork, loose trim, worn upholstery, previously damaged components, or defects that become apparent during the cleaning process.
5. Mobile Detailing Requirements
For mobile services, customers must provide safe access to the vehicle, along with access to both water and power. If water or power is unavailable, the booking may need to be rescheduled or cancelled.
6. Cancellations
We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or where we arrive and are unable to complete the service due to customer cancellation or lack of access to the vehicle, may incur a cancellation fee of up to $150.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
We take pride in delivering high-quality results. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
8. Personal Belongings
Customers are responsible for removing all personal belongings, valuables, cash, and important documents from the vehicle before the service begins. Bay Auto Detailing is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items left inside the vehicle.
9. Biohazards
Bay Auto Detailing reserves the right to refuse service on vehicles containing excessive waste, mould, bodily fluids, needles, hazardous materials, or other biohazards. Additional charges may apply where safe remediation is possible.
10. Limitation of Liability
Bay Auto Detailing's liability is limited to the value of the service provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
11. Additional Charges
Quoted prices are based on the information provided by the customer. Additional charges may apply for excessive pet hair, heavy staining, excessive dirt, mould, biohazards, oversized vehicles, undisclosed third-row seating, or conditions requiring substantially more time than originally quoted.
12. Weather Policy
As a mobile detailing service, bookings may be postponed or rescheduled due to unsafe weather conditions. We will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative appointment time.
